Military Type Canoe, From MoD Stores This appears to be of a military pattern and the previous owner had got it in the 1970s from store buildings at an MoD site in Bath. He said it was not in brilliant condition and had it recovered, although some of the original grey paint can still be seen on the bottom runners. I have read up a bit on WW2 canoes and it appears that there were numerous patterns and variations, and much of the research and development took place at the Admiralty in Bath, the same buildings that this example came from. I'm sure a bit more digging could find the exact model but it has similar lines to the Mk1, it measures approx 15'1'' long, and 32'' across. Collection only, more pics available
