1917 Army Horses Leather Strap This is a 1917 dated, Army leather strap, from a horse\'s harness set. It is clearly dated and complete with all of it\'s fittings. It is new to market, having surfaced with a grouping of other horses straps. The leather is in very good condition, as shown.
1939 Army Ammo Boots These are a pair of completely untouched size 8 large, 1939 dated, Army ammo boots. Both are in good condition as clearly shown. They are a perfectly matching pair, with each boot 1939 dated, as shown. They are also WD stamped, as shown. The left-hand side boot, has lost some of it's hob nails, at the front. 1940 British Army Clasp Knife This is a Broad arrow stamped and 1940 dated, 2 blade example. It has been well looked after and has been thoroughly cleaned. The can opener blade has been shortened, at some stage. Both blades are taut, on the knife and have an excellent spring action, when moved. UK SALES ONLY. 50th Anniversary of D-Day Times Newspaper This is a 1994, 50th anniversary D- Day newspaper, produced by \'The Times\' newspaper. It is broadsheet size and it runs to 12 sides ! The Times reproduced here their original paper from June 6th 1944 and have added modern photo montages of D Day photos. It is a well produced publication. Apart from the folds to the paper, it is in pristine condition.

Afrikakorps Magazine Feature This a June 1941 edition of \'Parade, Middle East Weekly\'. The magazine has a very early campaign feature, on the first encounters, with DAK forces in Libya.

Afrikakorps ME109 Pilot\'s POW Grouping This is a small, but very interesting grouping. It comprises of 2 letters from a ME109 pilot, who was shot down in November 1942, in North Africa. There are 2 photos from North Africa, one showing the pilot. He was sent to a POW camp in Algeria. Both of the letters have been fully translated into English, by a previous collector. They are both 2 sided and there is an envelope, addressed to his wife. It is a small slice of Luftwaffe history, to a pilot, who was a very fortunate man.

Berliner Illustrated Magazine This is a January 1944 dated edition. These magazines were clearly economy publications and were staple free. This edition is complete with all of it\'s pages and is in good condition, as clearly shown.

Britain\'s Home Guard This is a 1945 dated, hardback publication, written by John Brophy. The book presented a visual tribute to the Home Guard, after the \'Stand Down\' in December 1944. The book was published early in 1945, as the annotated inscription, at the front shows. Apart from some discolouration, to the cover, it is in very good condition. Brophy\'s book is seldom encountered and this is an opportunity, not to be missed.

British Airborne Troops 1940-45 This is a 1974 dated, hardback publication, written by Barry Gregory. The book gives a comprehensive overview, of the development of British Airborne forces, during the war. It is particularly well written and well illustrated with a large array of wartime photos. The book has been particularly well looked after and is in immaculate condition.
British Army Binoculars These are a good, 1950\'s period set. They are overall, in very good condition. There is some minor, paint loss, to the pair, as clearly shown. The left hand lens, does need to be tightened, as it rattles slightly, when turned. The pair give a good, sharp image. I will give any customer a money back guarantee, if they are satisfied, with the quality of this pair.

The book is well illustrated with photos and some are colour. It is however, staple free, which does means that the pages will fall out easily, out of this publication.
German Factory Worker\'s Diary This is a 1941 dated example. The diary was clearly labelled on the front pages, with the owner\'s name, which have been deliberately ripped out. The front cover has one paint stain to the spine, but otherwise is in very good condition. The rest of the diary is in very good condition.
German POW Envelope This is an unusual First World War period example. It is a German POW envelope, that was posted to Germany. It is missing it\'s original letter and is empty, as clearly shown. It is small sized, measuring 13 by 10 cm. It is dated on the reverse, 22nd November 1915.
German Propaganda Leaflet This is a February 1944 dated, German propaganda leaflet. These leaflets were dropped on Allied troops in Italy after the invasion of the Italian mainland. This example questioned the Anglo Soviet Alliance. It is printed on low grade paper. The folds on the leaflet show how one soldier chose to keep the leaflet, as a keepsake. It is 2 sided and has one small hole as shown. It is a rare survivor from The Italian Front.

It\'s previous collector, has photocopied details of the regiment\'s overseas postings and these are included in this sale.

Jersey D-Day German Poster This is an opportunity, not to be missed ! These posters were produced by the Germans Forces, in Jersey, after the D-Day landings, in France on June 6th 1944. This example is very salty, with several rips, as clearly shown. Despite it's faults, it still remains an exceedingly rare item, to encounter. It measures 20 by 30 cm.

Kent Wartime Post Office Book This is a Post Office book that belonged to a female customer, who banked at Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. The account was opened in October 1929 and closed in October 1944. The book is complete, with all of it\'s pages and is in very good condition.

The eagle is clearly tunic removed and shows good wear. The vet\'s name and address is written, underneath the eagle. I have left the eagle as found. It will come off easily off the page, as the stitching, is clearly not tight.
Kriegsmarine Leave Pass This is an August 31st 1944 dated, leave pass for a member of the Kriegsmarine It is named to a Hermann Leinweber. His pass was valid for 3 days and he reported back in on September 2nd. Leinweber appears to have taken his leave in Berlin, as the reverse stamp shows.

It has the perfect balance of thought provoking articles, cartoons, pin up nudes and humorous photo comparisons. It is nothing short of a masterpiece of understatement, at the nation's finest hour.

Victoria Cross Publication This is a November 1916 dated, magazine publication, produced by \'The Times\' magazine. It gives a comprehensive account of all of the VCs awarded to servicemen, during the first, 2 years of the war. The magazine is quite grubby, on the front. There is some very minor rust bleeding to the staples. These faults aside, the magazine is otherwise in good condition. It is packed with illustrations and photos.

Werner Molders Fighter Ace Photo This is a 1940 period, Luftwaffe photo, of the fighter ace Werner Molders. It was taken during The Battle of Britain in 1940. The photo is a published, wartime Luftwaffe source. The printed caption on the reverse to \'Tommy\', shows it was published prior to Molder\'s death in November 1941. It is a small sized photo, but the photo definition is exceptional.
West Riding Home Guard Officers Photo This is a good, wartime example. It shows officers from the 23rd West Riding, Home Guard Battalion, in Halifax. 2 of the battalion titles are clearly visible, in this photo. The previous owner, of this picture, has researched the location, indicating that it was taken outside a Home Guard drill hall in Prescott Street, in Halifax. The photo is a good size and in very good condition.

Wren\'s Photo This is a good, wartime, period example. It shows a young recruit. It is small sized, measuring 7 by 8 cm and is named, on the reverse.
Wren\'s Officer Portrait This is a good, wartime period example. It is a well executed, studio portrait, showing a 2nd/3rd Wren\'s Officer. It was taken in the Liverpool/Chester area. It is postcard size and in very good condition. The photo itself is postcard size.
XXI (Northern ) Corps Territorial Army This is a 1947 pattern example, printed on cotton. This example does have some writing on the reverse. It is clearly tunic removed and well worn.
XXX Corps Medallion This is a good untouched, wartime example. It has a fine patina, as clearly shown.
York and Lancaster This is a white on red, embroidered example. It does have some blue tac, stains, on the reverse.
Yorkshire & Northumberland Training Brigade This is a 1947 pattern example, printed on cotton. It is tunic removed, as shown and it\'s previous collector has annotated the reverse of the badge.
Zeppelin Household Insurance Policy This is a 1915 dated, household Insurance Policy, taken out by a Mary Potter. The News paper, ran these household insurance policies and reflect the feeling of nation insecurity, caused by the German Zeppelin raids over Britain. In addition, it covered households, for damage also caused by friendly fire. The insurance policy receipt, measures 32 by 13 cm. It is an uncommon First World War , Home Front item to encounter.
